TeamKids Founding Director, Sam Hoath, has been awarded the EY Entrepreneur of the Year for the Southern Region for 2024-25 – an exciting achievement honouring his remarkable innovation and dedication.

FROM A SINGLE PROGRAM TO A NATIONAL NETWORK
Sam’s journey began in 2011 with a single school holiday program – with a vision of providing high-quality, safe, and engaging care for children. It has since evolved into a robust network of over 220 programs across Eastern Australia.
Under his leadership, TeamKids is now the highest-rated OSHC provider under the National Quality Framework, and currently employs over 2,500 staff.
A VISIONARY LEADER IN EDUCATION
Sam’s success stems from his teaching background and entrepreneurial spirit. By consistently acting on feedback and opportunities, Sam has set TeamKids apart from competitors – being a wholly Australian and teacher-owned entity.
EXPANDING HORIZONS BEYOND OSHC
The EY award not only recognises Sam’s achievements with TeamKids, but his broader community contributions too. Beyond OSHC, he has acquired Kids Unlimited, Australia’s largest extra-curricular program provider, and launched TK TuckShop, a healthy online canteen for schools. Also, he co-founded The Stand Up Project, an anti-bullying initiative set to expand to over 200 schools by 2025.
